BSICM 2024 - A unique opportunity!
BSICM is offering an intensive conducting course for students in full-time study, professional performers, educators, and ambitious amateurs wishing to develop their conducting skills and technique, score knowledge and music interpretations. We are excited to work with the Dutch conductor Joost Smeets, collaborating with Brabant Sinfonia, our two correpetitors Martien Maas, Toon Bierman and our piano soloist Wenshan Ji.
In this course, 4 works will be taught in total, to maximize the learning opportunities for all participants. The course will take place in English, but lessons in Dutch & German are also possible.
Each participant will have:

Around 90 minutes of podium time, included two pianists, ensembles and full symphonic instrumentation of the repertoire

A maximum of 20 participants

Work on 4 chosen pieces

an opportunity to perform these works in a final concert

Professional recordings of the video and audio of your conducting sessions
